Millie Bobby Brown defends her friendship with Drake, asks people to stop being weird
The 'Stranger Things' actress revealed on the Emmys red carpet that she and the 'God's Plan' rapper are good friends and text each other frequently
Millie Bobby Brown is not here for people who criticized her friendship with Drake and think it is weird. And she just hit them back via her Instagram stories and called them out.
The 'Stranger Things' actress revealed on the Emmys red carpet that she and the 'God's Plan' rapper often get in touch via texts. When asked about her friendship with him, Millie described him as "a great friend and a great role model" and she continued saying, "We just texted each other the other day, and he was like, 'I miss you so much,' and I was like, 'I miss you more.'"
On a scale of 1 to 10, we would give her an 11. Millie Bobby Brown looks fabulous on the #emmys gold carpet, and she revealed that Drake is the man behind the curtain when it comes to her dating life! She also revealed that the 31-year-old singer gives her advice "about boys," saying, "He helps me. Yeah, yeah, yeah. He’s great. He’s wonderful. I love him."
And considering the 17-year age gap between the two, some fans find it odd that they are close friends. But Millie, however, proved to be in no mood for their judgment and gave them a piece of her mind.
After noticing the backlash she received on social media, she took to Instagram and penned down her message for them. "U guys are weird… for real," she fumed.
"I’m lucky to have people in the business extend their time to help me further my career and offer their wisdom and guidance. I’m very blessed to have amazing people in my life. U don’t get to choose that for me. It’s nice to have people who understand what I do. Now get back to talking about real problems in this world other than my friendships… jeez. (sic)"
She also took her time out to thank all her supporters "To all the supporters: I love you guys. Thank you for supporting me. Many thanks to u guys. Sending my love to wherever u are in the world."
Millie met Drake in Australia last year and ever since he has been helping her with her boy troubles since she split from her boyfriend Jacob Sartorius in July. Apart from this, he has also been offering her advice in her career.
