Miley Cyrus owns her wardrobe malfunction by posting a nip slip pic, reminds us why she's so iconic
While most celebrities shy away from imperfections, Miley Cyrus is known to talk about it. That's exactly what she did when she had a nip slip. The 'Can't Be tamed' songstress took to Instagram and posted three images of her outfit, one of whom featured a nipple peeking out from a wardrobe malfunction.
"Swipe right," she said, before asking her fans to be quick about it, "But hurry. Instagram will definitely be removing this post soon." Cyrus made a little cameo during Marc Jacobs' NYFW show on Wednesday and slew the runway show, but then suffered a wardrobe malfunction when her teeny striped halter neck crop top opened up, revealing a nipple.
For the runway look, Cyrus strutted her stuff in a chic black bra, matching trousers and elbow-length black leather gloves, looking right at home with the plethora of other models on the runway. The look was accessorized with an oversized zebra-print bag with a smaller black pouch. Needless to say, it was fire and even got the approval of supermodel Naomi Campbell, who commented fire emojis on her post.
She's in the photos sporting loose messy hair, flared black pants and a pair of bright red mules. Soon after posting the shots, fans started applauding Cyrus and posting the hashtag FreetheNipple. Calling her a legend, one fan said, "You're too hot for cold New York," while another said, "This is why we love you. Iconic."
Cyrus has worked with longtime friend Marc Jacobs before and worn his designs. In fact, she was the face of the Jacobs’ Spring 2014 campaign and designed a hoodie in a collaboration that was set to benefit Planned Parenthood.
Cyrus has been known to own her sexuality and her body every single time it's brought into question and clearly, she's not backing down anytime soon.
