Miley Cyrus dazzles in first wedding portrait alongside parents Tish and Billy Ray after exchanging vows with Liam Hemsworth
Miley Cyrus looks absolutely dazzling in her first wedding portrait after her marriage to actor Liam Helmsworth. What is noteworthy is that the 'Malibu' singer chose to pose with her parents Billy Ray and Tish for the portrait instead of husband Liam as she held a bouquet of white flowers and eucalyptus branches.
The singer's actress and producer mother shared the image on social media and wrote in the caption: "This makes my heart so happy."
It was revealed on Thursday that the 26-year-old 'Party In The USA' singer and the 28-year-old 'Hunger Games' actor had tied the knot in an intimate ceremony, with the couple having obtained their marriage license five days before the nuptials. The marriage record was taken out in Williamstown, Tennessee, and was dated December 18, 2018.
Miley shared pictures from the lowkey wedding ceremony on Wednesday, and one picture showed the blonde beauty hugging and kissing the Australian actor, whom she met on the set of their 2010 movie 'The Last Song'. She looked every bit the blushing bride, as she wowed everyone in her ivory silk satin corseted draped gown, which complemented her slim physique.
Liam also cut quite a dapper figure in his sharp black suit, teamed up with a tie, a white shirt, and trainers. Miley's floor-length gown was custom-made by Vivienne Westwood’s couture team and reportedly costs an eye-watering $8,600.
Through her wedding pictures that she posted on Instagram, Miley revealed that the pair had tied the knot on December 23, a decade after they first met while shooting 'The Last Song'. She captioned the Instagram post: "12.23.18", and in another photo, she wrote, "10 years later ....." in reference to when the duo first met.
A third post featured the couple sharing a kiss and the 'Can't Be Tamed' singer captioned it with, "This is probably our one - millionth kiss. (sic)" Her actor husband shared the same kissing photo, which he captioned: "My love [heart emoji]."
Earlier this week, Miley's friend Conrad Carr took to Instagram to share a snapshot of the lovebirds preparing to cut a cake together. In the very telling image, fans could spot how Miley looked resplendent in her gown as she stood before Liam, while Miley's casually-dressed mother Tish stood in front of giant metallic pink balloons spelling out 'Mr & Mrs' in the background.
