Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth look all loved up as they make their first public appearance after secret wedding
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth recently made their first public appearance together after they got married recently in a secret ceremony around three weeks ago.
Appearing at the 16th Annual G'Day USA Gala in the Culver City neighborhood of LA on Saturday night, the newly wedded couple seemed very much in love and happy as they sat at their table.
The 29-year-old Liam was one among three Australians who were honored that night for their achievements in the genre of creative arts. The famous Australian actor was seen walking the red carpet at the Gala while his newly wedded bride, Miley, chose to escape the red carpet and slip right inside the event using another door, according to Hunter Valley News.
Though they didn't walk the red carpet together, Hemsworth met up with his wife at their assigned table and they were cozy together for the rest of the Gala. Cyrus was seen wearing a black velvet dress that had a plunging neckline that allowed her to show off her curves and tattoos. She paired her dress with a nice pair of black heels and wore her hair pulled back away from her face and parted a little to the right.
While Cyrus looked her best, so did her new husband. Hemsworth was seen sporting a very fashionable fitted black suit. He paired it with a classy white dress shirt and a black tie that looked eye-catching. The couple overall looked really good together, matching with color coordination. The couple secretly got married in December on 28th.
Later during the event, Hemsworth was given the G’Day USA Excellence in Film award for his performances in films that include 'The Hunger Games' and 'Independence Day: Resurgence'.
Apart from Hemsworth, well-known Australian singer Helen Reddy and 'Games Of Thrones' production designer Deborah Riley were also honored at the event for their outstanding work. G’Day USA aims to promote better economic ties and encourage Australian ideas, talent and innovation in the US.
In this year's gala, they featured Australian food and wine along with a menu that was curated by Australian chef Curtis Stone. Award-winning Australian actor and comedian Patrick Brammall was the host for the award show and dinner.
