Miley Cyrus shares a 'quick kiss' as she enjoys lunch date with Gigi Hadid's ex Cody Simpson
Miley Cyrus' whirlwind romance with Brody Jenner's former wife Kaitlynn Carter came to an end around two weeks ago. Cyrus wasted no time in moving ahead and the 26-year-old was seen sharing a 'quick kiss' with her longtime friend Cody Simpson, 22. As reported by E!News, a source shared that the pair were seen briefly locking lips while on a trip to the grocery store in Los Angeles on October 3.
The pair were then seen enjoying a private and intimate lunch while at health food restaurant Backyard Bowls. The two were spotted at the restaurant by a fan who took to social media to share a video of Cyrus chatting with Simpson. The fan also identified the man as Cody Simpson and captioned her video, "Miley on a date with the one and only Cody Simpson."
Simpson who was seen sporting a black beanie, black pants, and a pair of white sneakers took to Instagram later that day wearing the same outfit. During their earlier outing, Cyrus and Gigi Hadid's ex were seen buying sushi as well as a beverage. They then "noticed people seeing them so they tried to rush out of there."

When Cody turned 18 in 2015, both Cyrus and his then-girlfriend Gigi Hadid were seen attending his star-studded birthday bash. That year, Simpson had shared, "Miley is one of my best friends and she helps with some of that transitional stuff - trying to escape your childhood."
He spoke to GQ Australia and added, "She’s super open-minded and I’m working on becoming more like that".
