Miley Cyrus redesigns oversized hospital gown to sleeveless, form-fitting outfit after getting hospitalized for tonsilitis
On Tuesday, October 8, singer Miley Cyrus revealed on her Instagram Stories that she has been hospitalized for tonsilitis and that she has redesigned her hospital gown to keep her spirits up.
The 26-year-old pop star shared a series of snaps from her hospital bed, urging her fans to send her "good vibes" through her treatment.
She added that she was trying to get well before her scheduled appearance over the weekend at the Gorillapalooza, a charity event hosted by Ellen DeGeneres' The Ellen Fund, which raises funds to help global conservation efforts.
"Trying to heal as quick as I can to make it to Gorillapalooza w @TheEllenShow @PortiaDeRossi @BrunoMars this weekend! Send gooooood vibes my way! Hoping the Rock star G*DS send me a boost of bad ass (sic) and help me kick this s— to the curb where it belongs! We got gorillas to save!" she wrote.
She posted the caption along with a selfie of herself on a hospital bed with a somber expression as IV tubes are seen sticking out of her arm.
In the following post, the 'Slide Away' singer could be seen pumping herself up by redesigning her hospital gown, because she believed that someone's appearance can influence one's feelings.
"How you present yourself can determine how you feel!" she captioned a mirror selfie where her mother Tish Cyrus can be seen standing behind her and spraying her hair.
"Thank you mama for helpin this little sickyyy look a little bit better by brushin my hair for me @tishcyrus mommy's are the best!" she wrote in the caption
Miley had taken her oversized hospital gown and altered it to make it more form-fitting, low-cut, and sleeveless, as shown in the photo.

In a final post, Miley was seen lying on the hospital bed surrounded by rose petals and a giant bouquet of bright yellow sunflowers with a large "I Love You" balloon placed next to her on the side table. "I [love] MY MAIN GAYS!" she captioned the snap.
