On Monday, November 23, the internationally acclaimed K-pop band BTS returned to ‘Good Morning America’ to perform the group's new song ‘Life Goes On’. Jin, RM, Jungkook, Jimin, V, and J-Hope appeared together (Suga was missing), and they spoke about how they were dealing with the coronavirus pandemic. RM told fans that they were all "doing our best" while quarantining together, keeping busy by putting on a huge virtual concert and being in the studio making music.

The group was also asked what kind of impact the pandemic has had on their music. RM replied, “This album ‘BE’ and the single ‘Dynamite’ wouldn’t be here without the pandemic,” explaining that they would have been on their planned world tour otherwise.

To the delight of fans, they talked about how much they missed being with their fans. "We connect with them," V said, "but we want to meet them in person."
Jungkook said, “Can’t wait to meet you guys again, ARMY!” V said, “We miss ARMY so much. We connect with them on Weverse, but we want to meet them in person.” RM said, “See you in America, someday!”

But that wasn’t all that happened in the episode. Former professional boxer Mike Tyson too joined ‘Good Morning America’ for an interview on November 23, and on the show, he took off his shirt. “I gotta show you my body man, I gotta show you how beautiful I look,” Tyson said. “This is where it's at, man. This is where it’s at brother”. Tyson returns to the ring on November 28, in an exhibition boxing match against Roy Jones Jr. So, obviously, he has taken to getting back in shape. Naturally, he wanted to flaunt it on the show. Tyson’s fight against Jones Jr is for charity and will take place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Saturday in the main event.

And while fans of the boxing legend are excited about the event, fans of BTS were somehow upset about having the group and Tyson share space on the show. On Twitter, a BTS fan wrote, “I ordered BTS, I got Mike Tyson half-naked.” Another fan said, “Mike Tyson just took his damn shirt off.... Does he know like millions of army are watching?” One BTS fan asked, “why is Mike Tyson stripping on live tv I'm just here for BTS.”

The tweets continued. One fan wrote, “I just want to see BTS why is there a naked Mike Tyson on screen.” Another fan said on Twitter, “I came to watch BTS but I saw a shirtless Mike Tyson... Ok I guess.” Yet another fan wrote, “wanted BTS but ended up seeing a turkey recipe and Mike Tyson doing an interview half-naked.”

On November 22 night, BTS made fans happy with their performance of ‘Life Goes On’ at the 2020 American Music Awards. This was the first time the group performed their ‘BE’ lead single live. The group followed it up with their hit single ‘Dynamite’. BTS released their latest album BE (Deluxe Edition) on Friday, November 20.
