'Jersey Shore' star Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino's wife Lauren Pesce said she is proud of her husband and was optimistic of him making a comeback once he had completed his jail sentence.
Sorrentino turned himself into jail on Tuesday to serve out his 8-month long sentence for tax evasion.
As reported by ET, Lauren shared, "Thank you, everyone, for your love and support. Today Mike and I begin to put this chapter of our lives behind us. I couldn’t be more proud to call him my husband. As he says, the comeback is always greater than the setback! Love, Lauren Sorrentino."
Before he surrendered, the 36-year-old star tweeted the mailing address of the Federal Correctional Institution in New York for his friends, family, and fans.
