Mike Perry punches elderly man in restaurant and hurls the N-word, Angry Internet calls UFC star a 's**tbag'

UFC star Mike Perry is trending on Twitter for taking a swing at an old man following a tiff at a restaurant on Tuesday (July 7) night. His rage and an outburst of profanity were captured in a video that has now gone viral. 

Talking about the incident, a restaurant staffer reportedly told TMZ that "the whole thing started when Perry got into a physical altercation with someone" at the restaurant in Lubbock around 10.30 pm. The report also says that the UFC fighter was asked to leave the restaurant and that’s when he "punched the employee". Perry’s brawl with the restauranteurs continued as he stepped out, while he was being followed by a few people including his alleged girlfriend. 

As seen in the video, a man intervenes and Perry knocks him down before storming away from the crowd yelling and using the N-word multiple times. Internet is enraged on seeing the MMA fighter charge at civilians, with many asserting that strict action needs to be taken against him. One wrote, "A professional fighter should NEVER throw the first punch against anyone. Much less an old fat f*ck. Mike Perry needs to serve some time and learn a lesson from this."

However, some are of the opinion that Perry is a fighter with "temper issue", so the old man should have maintained distance. "Mike obviously has temper issues. But old man should know his place that he’s getting ktfo if he’s gonna try further escalate it with a young angry man like Mike Perry," one said. But, the rest of the internet users have noted that he shouldn’t be forgiven for his “disgusting behavior”. One agitated user wrote, "Mike Perry in a bar fight last night over someone 'touching him'. This is pretty disgusting behavior from a UFC calibre fighter. Acting like a complete child."

One user noted, "Please stop trying to defend Mike Perry, no professional fighter should be instigating fights with civilians, old or otherwise. The man is clearly all over the place at the minute and I hope he gets the help he needs." Another added, "Mike Perry is a s**tbag. Ok whatever.
