The Obama family wished America and the world a Happy Thanksgiving, with the former First Lady sharing a picture of the family on the occasion.

Michelle Obama posted a picture on her Twitter handle which featured her husband as well as their two daughters — Sasha and Malia. The picture had been clicked near their home last spring just a few hours before Sasha had gone to her high school prom. Michelle captioned the picture, "From our family to yours, #HappyThanksgiving!"

Ever since Obama left office after living in the White House for eight years, the Obama family has been busy as they returned to private life. The family has largely stayed out of politics since settling down in Washington, DC.

Obama has spent his time starting a foundation that is based in Chicago which aims at "inspiring, empowering, and connecting people to change their world". They also hold leadership training sessions in communities across the United States. Michelle, on the other hand, has written a bestselling book titled 'Becoming'. Obama is also due to publish his own memoir which will be released before the 2020 election.

Very recently, Malia Obama and her boyfriend Rory Farquharson, 21, were seen attending the Harvard-Yale football game over the weekend. The pair were seen around two years after kissing at the same venue, in November 2017. Malia, 21, and Farquharson had taken the trip to New Haven, Connecticut to watch the game on Saturday.

Malia is presently in her junior year and was seen enjoying the weekend with her friends and boyfriend as they made their way into the stadium. The game was full of drama and was delayed for almost 30 minutes after climate change protesters took to the field at half-time, sporting both Harvard and Yale colors.
