A Colorado police officer has claimed that she was booted from the force after her OnlyFans account was discovered by her colleagues. A police veteran with 28 years of service, Melissa Williams had no option but to 'retire' from the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office in Colorado. She had served in the position for over 11 years.

The 46-year-old said that she started posting her content on OnlyFans in May 2020 in an attempt to spice up her sex life with her husband. “My personal sex life was entirely separate and never affected my ability to do my job,” Williams told Jam Press. “I was in shock and panicking because I never wanted these two parts of my life to collide." During her resignation, she reportedly received a $30,000 severance package to leave the force.

Williams, who is known by the alias Lexi Bella (@the_real_bella_lexi) on OnlyFans, shared saucy pictures of herself and her husband. “A lot of the material my husband and I shared is stuff we’d taken in our private sex life over the years,” the mother of two said. “I was working up to 60-hour weeks, so mostly my husband ran the page and shared my pictures, and then sometimes we’d have fun dressing me up and taking photos especially to share. It was a fun way to relax and be creative together after a stressful week in a stressful job," she added.

Williams received an official complaint in her email, following which she realized that her colleagues had been gossiping about her and even signing up for her page. “The complaint came totally out of the blue,” the officer said. “Then I was angry and embarrassed because the notice went on to say how five colleagues of mine — all in lower and higher ranks than me — had obtained access to my paid account to access my private content so they could investigate my conduct.”

Williams had to spend 12 weeks with a doctor after her mental health condition deteriorated following the events. The doctor advised her not to return to her old job. Her lawyer and the local force put together a severance package of $30,000 during her time off. "Being a police officer was fulfilling, exciting work. I loved my job — but how could I go back to work in an environment like that? It was hard being a woman in the force. People have always been jealous of me because I am successful, attractive and confident," Williams said.  Meanwhile, the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office said that an investigation is underway after a complaint from a member of the public alleged that she was "posing on a pornographic website and, in doing so, was bringing discredit to the Sheriff’s Office."

Williams is earning only about $4,000 a month on OnlyFans, which is less than her police salary. However, she hopes that her page will succeed more now that she can dedicate more time to it. She dreams of becoming a team leader or manager in security or corporate training in the future.
