Melania Trump looks stunning as she unveils patriotic Spirit of America-themed White House Christmas decorations
First lady Melania Trump officially unveiled the White House Christmas decorations for 2019 on Sunday night in a festive and cheery video.
Melania, 49, was seen putting some final touches to the decor which has the theme of 'The Spirit of America'.
The video clip which is about a minute long was shared on FLOTUS's Twitter account and featured her sporting a cream coat, matching dress and a pair of stilettos as she enjoyed the work and efforts of volunteers who had helped decorate the White House.
The first family returned to the White House on Sunday after spending Thanksgiving in Florida.
While sharing a video clip of the stunning decor, Melania shared, "'The Spirit of America' is shining in the @WhiteHouse! I am delighted to share this beautiful exhibit of patriotism for all to see and excited for everyone to experience the beauty of the #Christmas season!"
This year's White House decorations featured fake snow along with ornaments featuring stars and stripes, as well as a massive advent calendar.
As a gesture to the first lady's 'Be Best' campaign, a scrabble themed ornament spelled out her signature initiative. There were other decorations such as the children's game concept with domino pieces and playing cards hanging from a tree.
The footage shows the White House lined with suspended snowflakes as FLOTUS walks around and adds last touches to the decorations, sprinkling glitter, and straightening flowers.
FLOTUS and her team have reportedly been planning the White House Christmas decor since early summer.
On Saturday, she had said, "Volunteers are hard at work at the @WhiteHouse. Thank you to all who came all across our great nation to decorate the People's House. Looking forward to view it tomorrow evening! #ChristmasWhiteHouse". The White House had added, "Each year, the White House is decorated for Christmas by a team of dedicated volunteers! The White House Christmas decorations, carefully selected by @FLOTUS, will be on display beginning soon!"
