Melania Trump stuns in stylish coat and dress combo as she returns to White House after Mar-a-Lago vacation
First lady Melania Trump looked stunning in a dress and coat combo as she returned to the White House on Sunday after spending the holidays at the Trumps' Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.
She was seen sporting a long-sleeve grey number that she matched to a vanilla color dress that went past her knees. She was joined by her husband Donald Trump and their son Barron as they returned from their vacation in Mar-a-Lago.
Melania looked stunning and her outfit was flawless. Her fashion style is usually on point, and she didnt't miss with the patterned coat. She tied up the look with knee-length, off-white boots. Recently she was seen sporting a jaw-dropping black and gold metallic floor-length gown for a New Year's Eve party.
The FLOTUS was recently in the news when remarks she made in an article about how "smart" she was in 2016 were dug up by Twitter users to mock her.
In the article by Dejour magazine, Melania had defended herself after MSNBS host Chris Matthews made a snide comment about her robot-like behavior during the 2016 election. In the article, Melania slammed Matthews and said, "Unbelievable. That's what I'm saying! I'm not only a beauty. I'm smart. I have brains. I'm intelligent. I would say men will be men."
She also claimed to be married to someone "successful as my husband is, you need somebody who will tell him the truth. Somebody smart, you know it's not like I'm there and I'm just doing things for him."
Taking her to task for her comments, one user shared, "If somebody has to announce they're smart, they usually aren't; they're only insecure," while another added, "Who told her she was beautiful?" A third social media user chimed in, "There's no beauty in that woman. Selfishness, greed, and vanity took it years ago."
Many of Melania's critics used the opportunity to compare her to former FLOTUS Michelle Obama who is very shy about discussing her looks or her private life. One user said, "She doesn't hold a candle to Michelle Obama in intelligence or beauty," while another shared, "Michelle Obama never had to tell us she was pretty or smart!"
