First lady Melania Trump looked her stylish best while receiving guests and accepting delivery of the annual White House Christmas tree on Monday, November 25.

The mother-of-one welcomed the festive season knocking on the door while donning a $3,700 long floral brocade coat by Dolce & Gabbana over black trousers and a matching top. But what really stole the show was her pair of Christian Louboutin’s over-the-knee black boots with an almond toe and thin stiletto heel.

She wore her hair down and let her signature golden brown locks frame her face as she smiled for the cameras on the White House lawn where US Army dog Conan, a Belgian Malinois, was commemorated by husband Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence. The canine had reportedly sustained “serious” injuries in the raid that killed ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

After supporting her husband in greeting the dog, the 49-year-old received the official White House Christmas tree. The 23-foot Douglas fir arrived in a long horse-drawn carriage and was provided by Mahantongo Valley Farms in Pitman, Pennsylvania. The owner Larry Snyder and his family were present for the delivery of the tree in front of the White House.

The Christmas tree will stand in the Blue Room, and it will be displayed as the centerpiece of White House decorations.

The White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham told Daily Mail: "The President and First Lady host dozens of events over the holiday season to include the delivery of the Christmas tree, Thanksgiving turkey pardon, special holiday tours for the public, and many holiday parties for military families, children, friends, White House staff, and the United States Secret Service."

However, she refrained from mentioning what this year's theme of the holiday decorations will be.

"I don’t want to get ahead of the First Lady’s décor for this year, but I can tell you that as always, Mrs. Trump put the guest experience first and applied that to every detail of planning. It is her intention that people get a sense of warmth, family, nostalgia, and the important meaning of Christmas as they walk the halls of the people’s house," Grisham said.
