Melania nails Christmas fashion with bejeweled black dress at Trump's Mar-a-Lago party
Melania Trump was spot on with her sartorial choices yet again.
The first lady attended a music-filled Christmas Eve service at a Southern Baptist Convention-affiliated church alongside her husband Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago, Florida, on Tuesday, December 24.
The 49-year-old donned a beautiful formal black dress with a bejeweled neckline as she enjoyed the holiday with dinner in the ballroom at the private club with her 73-year-old husband. The slinky, tight-fitting number perfectly complemented her toned model-like body frame. It fell to a fuller skirt just below her knee and a black band cinched her attire at the waist.
The feature that transformed the dress into something special for the festive season was the bejeweled neckline that sparkled brilliantly under the lights. The ornate neckline of the dress was enough to make Melania keep other accessories to a minimum. She did, however, don her favorite rings on each hand, preferring to keep her wrists and throat bare.
Her signature highlighted brown hair framed her face as it fell loose around her shoulders. A pair of classic black high heels to match the dress completed her look for the evening.
The mother-of-one walked hand in hand with Trump, who was wearing a blue suit and a red tie, into the event before sitting down to eat.
Apart from the president and his wife, the celebration was attended by Donald Trump Jr. and his girlfriend Kimberly Guilfoyle.
Melania's parents Viktor and Amalija Knavs also joined the fun.
Eric Trump and his wife Lara Trump were nowhere to be seen. Neither were Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner, both of whom were in Paris.
When asked by a reporter if he prayed for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi at church, during a press conference at the Christmas Eve dinner at the club, less than a week after being impeached by the House, Trump ignored the question. “We’re going to have a great year," he said instead, Time magazine reported.
