Mel B is reportedly under police investigation after she hit a male model in the chest twice after a fashion show. The model Dujuan Thomas resorted to filing a report with the LAPD on Sunday.
According to TMZ, Dujuan Thomas filed a report with the LAPD and claimed that the former Spice Girl Mel B had hit him in the chest twice after a hotel fashion show that they had attended. Dujuan allegedly bumped into Mel B while backstage and requested for a selfie which she agreed to. Dujuan reportedly did not like the picture and asked her for another when Mel B allegedly hit him in the chest with her right hand.
Later that evening, Dujuan bumped into Mel B again at the same hotel and told the police that when she recognized it was him, she hit him in the chest again. Dujuan did not have any injuries as a result of this. According to a video clip, Dujuan was seen walking behind Mel and recording a woman which is believed to be Mel B as she talks to her friends. She is seen turning around when the video suddenly cuts off. The case is currently under investigation and will filter to the LA City Attorney who will decide what the next step will be.
Currently, Mel B is getting ready for the release of her new book 'Brutally Honest' which is due on November 27. As reported by DailyMail, Mel B's memoir talks about how she hit rock bottom and struggled with substance abuse. She got candid about her love life, her love for sex, threesomes, her relationship with Eddie Murphy, her tumultuous relationship with her former band 'Spice Girls', and her depression and sadness post her father's death.
"I know what it's like to be beaten down. I know what it's like to be punched, humiliated, isolated and to feel there is no way out except suicide. I am ready to say what really happened to me," Mel B shared. "I can't pretend I'm not living in some twisted, violent hell. My life is a mess and I want out. I was at rock bottom…I was exhausted, worn down by seven years of constant emotional abuse, mind games, degradation, threats, and sexual exploitation. I was drinking too much – wine, vodka, tequila – and had lost all self-respect. I was lost," she wrote.
"Trapped in the vice of my own celebrity image. All smiles on the outside, misery and self-loathing on the inside, always telling the world how happy I was when really all I ever wanted was to scream for help," she continued. "I couldn't let myself go under. I had to believe things could get better. I couldn't do it to my girls, my family or all those people who actually believed in me," she added.
