'Rude' Meghan McCain has no friends on 'The View' due to her fights with co-hosts and guests, claims insider

McCain's one friend Abby Huntsman, another Conservative, has also reportedly turned against her

Meghan McCain, who engaged in a contentious back and forth with each of her co-hosts on 'The View', has now become an outcast on the show.

What's more? The only other conservative voice on the show, Abby Huntsman, has also chosen not to back McCain, Page Six reveals.

“They aren’t speaking to each other. It’s been about a month. None of the ladies talk to Meghan now. Abby was the last woman standing. It’s bad. Meghan’s so rude,” an insider told Page Six, while another source added, “Abby tolerates Meghan, but she doesn’t genuinely like her. Their friendship has soured.”

The growing tension became obvious on January 7, when Huntsman, the daughter of former Utah Governor Jon Huntsman Jr., commented on former National Security Adviser John Bolton after he recently said he’s willing to testify in President Trump’s impeachment hearing.

“I think he ultimately has a conscience … He’s someone that I think would be speaking [about] what he thinks is right, not what politically he believes or doesn’t believe,” Huntsman said.

In response, McCain said the "idea that he went home and grew a conscience" was hard to digest. "Maybe I’ve been in politics too long," she added.

“Well, I’ve also been in politics," Huntsman shot back. "[It’s] my upbringing too, and a lot of people have been around politics or know politics, whether you have family or not … This show is about opinions.”

Some sources viewed McCain as rather “rude and dismissive” to 'The View’s' guests and co-hosts and “very self-important”. Last month, Whoopi Goldberg called McCain out on air when she appeared to talk over the other co-hosts.

“Girl! Please stop talking! Please stop talking right now!” Goldberg said, “Don’t assume that we’re over here with butcher knives under the table."

According to the report, some viewers were so tired of McCain's antics that they proceeded to create Change.org petitions to have her booted off the show. Nonetheless, a representative for the show said they had her back anyway.

“We have an incredible panel of smart, dynamic women… including Meghan, who brings… passion and a strong point of view to the table every day," they said.
