Meghan Markle‘s estranged half-brother has starred in a new beer commercial as a thief who steals from the Buckingham Palace. The bizarre advertisement also features a lookalike of his now-Royal sister who is his co-conspirator in the fake heist.

According to the New York Post, in the ad for Classic New York Beer which will be broadcast at an uncertain date in China as well as New York, Thomas Markle Jr is seen dressed up in an all-black getup as he breaks into the Buckingham Palace to steal Queen Elizabeth II's crown.

After he gets his hand on the prized asset, Thomas — who was busted for DUI earlier this year — is seen noticing a cabinet of the branded brew and he grabs a few bottles. Just that moment, a Royal guard barges in and catches him red-handed, yelling, "Drop everything."

While Thomas lets go of the crown, he keeps holding onto the bottles of beer. To make his getaway, he throws one of the bottles at the guard, who catches it and cannot resist gulping it down. It allows Thomas to flee the scene and make his way to the Rolls Royce getaway car waiting for him outside the palace.

In the car sat actress Renee Wood, who was dressed up as the Duchess of Sussex, decked with a tiara and jewels and in on the conspiracy of the heist along with Thomas.

When Thomas jumps into the backside of the car, she asks him whether he was able to grab the "jewels." At that, Thomas replies that he was able to steal something even better and pulls out two bottles of Classic New York Beer.

“Priceless!” Wood says as they both clink the bottles.

Speaking to the Post, Markle said he was sure that the Royal family was going to get a kick out of the ad. “I don’t think anyone would be upset by it. It’s not going to piss anyone off,” he said on Sunday.

He also went onto praise his co-star in the ad. “Renee did a great job as Meghan,” Markle said. “It was a little comical. That was the point.”

The entire commercial was filmed in the span of a single day in Oceanside, New York.

Markle is under the impression that the ad was going to help him mend ties with his sister. “It would be great to get together and have a Classic New York Beer,” he said. “After all, in the ad, she said it was priceless.”
