It seems Thomas Markle, the estranged father of Meghan Markle, still has an ax to grind with his daughter, hitting out at her in a new tell-all documentary.

Thomas, formerly a television lighting director, has not spoken to Meghan since his ill-advised photo stunt before her and Harry's royal wedding in April 2018 and recently turned for Channel 5's 'Thomas Markle: My Story.'

In the 90-minute film, he shared unseen photos of Meghan, including those of her birth, and described the portion of her childhood growing up with him as the "happiest of my life."

"When she was born I couldn’t have been happier," he said of her birth. "They handed her to me, I saw her face, her little fingers wrapped around my fingers and that was it, I was in love. I just knew she was going to be special. I was just knocked out by that child. She was just beautiful and I just couldn’t put her down."

There are also a series of photos of Meghan with her mother Doria Ragland at Christmas parties and summer picnics near their California home, which were taken before she moved in with Thomas as a teenager following the couple's divorce. Other photos include those of Meghan riding a horse and fishing.

The 75-year-old also shared rare home video footage of Meghan's first school productions where he claims the star in her was born, her high school graduation, leaving college, as well as family photos taken after she won her first Hollywood roles and her breakthrough on legal drama 'Suits.'

Thomas said he felt "tremendous pride" watching his daughter act on stage at the private Catholic all-girls Immaculate Heart School in Los Angeles and revealed a video where the now-38-year-old is performing as Little Red Riding Hood in the play 'Into The Woods.'

He also seemingly suggested that meeting Harry and going into the royal family had changed his daughter, who was like a "deer in the headlights" in the alien environment of Kensington Palace.

"Not everybody seems to approve of those kinds of relationships," he shared, talking about being in a mixed-race relationship with Doria. "People would look at Doria like she was a housekeeper. It wasn't fair. I think she's going through the same problem right now with the royals. I don't think they know where to place her. She always looks scared. She always looks like a deer in the headlights."

"Meghan was my most important relationship and my pride and joy. I miss Meghan. I miss the way she was. I don't know who she is now," he said, adding that he didn't think she would see him again until he is "lowered into the ground" in a coffin.
