Meghan Markle's mention of "Humphrey Yogart", a frozen yogurt shop where she used to work as a teenager, has resulted in a business boom for the brand. After hundreds flocked to the brand's LA outlet, the Duchess of Sussex will reportedly be honored with her own signature flavor.

During her bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey, Markle mentioned her first job serving froyos at a Humphrey Yogart outlet in Los Angeles when she was just 13. Her shoutout has sent fans flocking to the brand's outlet, according to TMZ.

"Check out the scene at the last remaining Humphrey Yogart," the entertainment outlet reported, referring to a photo that captured the rush outside the store. The report added, "There's a huge line, and we're told the shop served more than 200 folks the day after Meghan's interview aired. We're told a normal Monday sees 50 or so customers, so the Meghan bump is real."

TMZ clarified that Markle did not work at the said outlet, which is located inside a Gelson's grocery in Sherman Oaks, but fans rushed to the stand nonetheless and scooped up all the merchandise on display. Markle used to work at the Humphrey Yogart on La Cienega, which is now closed.

Owners of the Sherman Oaks outlet told TMZ they didn't remember Meghan working for them, but had decided to honor her and Prince Harry with their own limited-edition signature flavor, called 'Banana Royale.'

According to the store, the special flavor is a "blended combo of banana and peanut butter ice cream with chocolate chips mixed in" and is inspired by "Meghan's love of chocolate chip banana bread and Harry's love of PB&J."

During her sensational sit-down with Winfrey, Markle said she was grateful for her time working at Humphrey Yogart. “Thank God I had that life experience, thank God I had known the value of working,” she said. “My first job was when I was 13 at a frozen yogurt shop called Humphrey Yogart.”

Years later, on the day of Meghan's wedding to Prince Harry in 2018, Humphrey Yogart called Meghan a "former employee" in a Facebook post and offered their customers a ceremonial discount to celebrate the union.

"Join us in celebrating our former employee Meghan Markle, and her wedding to Prince Harry at Humphrey's with some strawberry and peanut butter frozen yogart [sic]—this royal combination is available all day Saturday, May 19th at 50 percent off," Humphrey Yogart said on Facebook at the time.

The frozen yogurt store noted in the comments section that the future royal worked at the now-closed Beverly Connection location in Los Angeles and added, "We think it was around 1995."

A spokesperson for the Sherman Oaks store said Meghan's interview had been “good for business when you consider the millions of people that saw the interview and heard the name of the place.”
