Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are not handling their royal duties anymore but it looks like the decision to step down from their royal commitments has done them good. Since the two have more time to spend with each other, they are able to focus on their family affairs while also spending a lot of time with their son, Archie.

“They are besotted and very sweet with each other,”  a person close to the pair said. The close friend further added that the pair are trying to put all their focus on Archie. “Archie is the priority. It’s very much still about taking care of him and putting the family first. He’s a happy kid—he loves to laugh. Archie and Harry have such a good time together. And Meghan is a great mom. She’s very much about tending to him. They are trying to live their life as regular parents," the friend said.

People reports that Harry and Meghan spend their time hiking in the woods near their Vancouver Island home while spending the rest of their time indoors. “They are real homebodies who love to chill out with Archie and the dogs,”  the source told the outlet. Now that the couple does not have royal engagements to attend to, the outlet reports that they are planning to spend more time in Meghan's hometown of Los Angeles this summer.

“They love being in Canada, but they are looking at houses in L.A. too,” the source said.  “They’ll likely have houses in both places.” Meanwhile, Harry and Meghan have also been working on their charity foundation. The pair recently visited Stanford University to meet with professors and talk about their foundation.

“He really cares about his work. He’s a good guy,” a member from their close circle told the outlet. The friend added that the pair are working together to make sure that their 2020 is meaningful. “It’s full throttle for them right now,” said the close friend. “They have a lot happening in 2020, and it will be really exciting to see.”
