Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are making headlines more than ever, especially after they announced their decision to step back from their royal duties and become financially independent.

The world is watching as the couple moves away from Britain and shifts their base to Canada. However, there are several royal watchers who believe that their marriage will soon be on the rocks.

Many have predicted that the two will be walking their separate ways from the marriage culminating in divorce within the next five years, according to a Daily Mail report.

Ever since Meghan started dating Harry, their relationship has been under heavy scrutiny. Meghan's life has been, especially, put under the critical microscope more often than Prince Harry as she became the center of criticism and bad press.

Understandably, the negative stories did not bode well for the couple as both Harry and Meghan started reeling under the brunt of public scrutiny.

Being under the intense spotlight like this, which sparked unfounded rumors, the derogatory negative press rarely proved to be beneficial for any kind of relationship. This ultimately is what reportedly led to their decision of giving up their titles in the hope of living a peaceful, private, normal life.

However, bookmakers have now predicted that the odds of Harry and Meghan getting divorced by 2025 are 3/1. The divorce is more likely to happen than Serena Williams winning the Wimbledon, which is priced at 6/1 and was a favorite till now.

Those at Irish bookmaker Paddy Power also believe that the couple will achieve financial independence with odds at 2/1 for doing so.

One main reason that many predict the divorce is inevitable is because the two are isolating themselves. With the exception of her mother, Meghan does not have a close relationship with anyone else in her family.

As the couple separated itself from the royal family, Harry and Meghan will only have each other, which might not prove to be a good thing on the long run, royal watchers feel.
