Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton end feud after Prince Charles 'knocks their heads together': Expert
The feud between Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton's has reportedly ended after an intervention by their father-in-law Prince Charles. The Duchess of Sussex and Duchess of Cambridge have had a strained relationship over the last couple of months after several "frosty" public engagements.
As reported by Mirror, Robert Jobson, a Princess Diana biographer, claimed that Prince Charles 'knocked their heads together' over Christmas to stop the two sisters-in-laws from feuding. Jobson spoke to Sunrise earlier this week and said, "I think there’s no smoke without fire. I do think it has been blown up a little bit but there have obviously been a few problems between the two ladies and even between the two princes."
"There’s some truth in the rumors. I’m sure, at Christmas, Prince Charles was knocking heads together and you can see that in the photographs of them all walking together in a line. But they looked like they had been pushed together in a line, to be honest," he continued.
The fab four: Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle attended a Christmas service at the St. Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham. The couples were seen in good spirits as they greeted the crowds that were gathered.
Robert Jobson also completely dismissed any suggestions that Meghan picked another hospital to snub the royals. "They’re going to be down in Frogmore Cottage, which is near Windsor, so they’re going to be out of town anyway. This is actually where Sophie Wessex had her babies and I think they’re quite skilled in older mums. Sophie was quite late having her babies — 38 or 39 I think — and then you’ve got Meghan who’s going to be 37. I think it’s best to be in a national health hospital where they’ve got all the facilities and all of the emergency units," he continued.
Meghan has chosen to give birth to her first baby with Prince Harry at the NHS Frimley Park hospital while Kate Middleton gave birth to all three of her children in the exclusive Lindo wing at the St. Mary's hospital which is located at the St. Mary's hospital in Paddington.
Princess Diana also gave birth to Prince Harry and Prince William at the private wing in the NHS hospital. The maternity ward boasts of art installations, luxury toiletries and chef-made gourmet food — including afternoon tea.
