Fans of Meghan Markle are absolutely convinced that they have found her doppelganger, Prince Harry better watch out!
Meghan Markle, who recently got married to Prince Harry and is now the Duchess of Sussex, has found a new, body-positive doppelganger in Los Angeles model Erica Lauren.
The LA model has been turning heads on Instagram for quite some time, but she has gotten a lot of attention in the past few days due to her uncanny sheer resemblance to the Duchess of Sussex.
While going through the young model's Instagram profile, it is quite evident that the model does resemble the former 'Suits' actress to a great extent.
Lauren has been a part of the modeling world since 2015, but her new-found fame came only after Prince Harry got married to Meghan Markle in a lavish ceremony on May 19.
"It's so funny — from early on in modeling, someone would comment on a photo every so often 'you look like the girl from 'Suits!' I had never seen the show before, so I had to Google her," said Lauren to Insider.
After being compared so many times to the Duchess of Sussex, the model admits that she too, thinks that she looks a lot like the actress-turned-duchess and revealed that she finds Markle to be extremely stunning.
Turns out Lauren finds their resemblance going back to childhood also. "I can't necessarily deny there are some similarities. I'm also half back and half white like she is, and I even saw a photo of Meghan in the news from when she was young and it looked so much like I did at the same age," said Lauren.
And although looking like the Duchess is validation enough, the young model has also aspired to make her own name in the fashion industry, especially since the boom in plus-size modeling.
"...you could see women were out here supporting each other in the process," Lauren said. "I've received a lot of love and hearing that anyone is inspired by me, perhaps to take more risks themselves, is amazing."
