Meghan Markle will appear in an exclusive interview with ABC’s Good Morning America, where she will be seen talking about Disney documentary ‘Elephant'. The interview will air on Monday, April 20, marking the first time the 38-year-old has went public since the Megxit.

The ‘Suits’ actress and her husband Prince Harry stepped down from their roles as senior royals in March, planning to live a "financially independent" life away from Buckingham Palace. The Sussexes with their little son, Archie, are now living in Los Angeles, California after they recently moved there from Canada.

ABC has promoted the teaser of the interview, suggesting what Meghan is likely going to talk about as a commoner. "On GMA Monday, Meghan Markle with an exclusive first look at the Disney documentary Elephant she narrated,” a voice-over for the clip said.

However, the American broadcasting company has not made it clear when the interview was shot. The clip promoted by the ABC also did not reveal if the Duchess of Sussex will talk about her and Harry's new life after leaving royal life.

The Disney documentary was Meghan's first post-Megxit job. The feature-length film is now available on Disney Plus that shows the story of a herd of elephants on their 1,000-mile journey through Zimbabwe and Botswana, across the Kalahari desert. The documentary, which is one of a series of animal and nature-themed features released to mark Earth Month,  released on April 3.

Earlier reports have claimed that the younger son of late Princess Diana and Prince Charles had joined his wife to the recording studio, where she worked on the film. “It was amazing having [Harry] there,” filmmaker Vanessa Berlowitz told Harper's Bazaar. “He had a connection to Botswana, of course,” co-director Mark Linfield added as he mentioned that the Duke of Sussex even gave his wife notes on her pronunciation during the recording session.

This comes after Meghan and Harry were reported doing charity work in Los Angeles post their move from Canada. The couple was spotted secretly delivering food to elderly city residents while dressed in jeans and wearing masks. They volunteered with a charity to help feed residents living with critical illnesses and who can't step out due to the lockdown.

Project Angel Food charity reportedly said that the former royal pair volunteered with them on Easter Sunday for the charity work. They also helped the organization in delivering perishable meals to around 20 vulnerable people in the city after they learned that the charity’s drivers were "overloaded" and they need extra people to feed people during the quarantine.

Richard Ayoub, Project Angel Food's executive director, said the Sussexes decision made him very happy. “They told us they heard our drivers were overloaded and wanted to volunteer to lighten the drivers' workload. I am blown away that they chose us. They care about our vulnerable population.”

“Our clients are most at risk to contract the coronavirus, having compromised immune systems including heart disease, lung disease, diabetes, and most are over the age of 60,” Ayoub added.
