Meghan Markle has reportedly banned Prince Harry from drinking, alcohol, tea and coffee as part of a new year health resolution
Meghan Markle seems to be on a mission to make her husband real fit and healthy. According to a new report, the Duchess of Sussex has banned Prince Harry from drinking booze and tea as part of a new year health resolution.
It is also being said the Meghan has asked her husband to let go of alcohol and caffeine and replace them with still mineral water. The formerly party-loving young prince is now said to be giving more priority to his health regime instead.
Moreover, it is also believed that Meghan's strict diet and exercise routine is having an impressive influence on Harry, who has, as of now, partly put his drinking on hold to sympathize with his pregnant wife. As for Meghan, the pregnant Duchess seems to have corrected her habit of nail-biting and swearing.
One unnamed friend of Harry was quoted saying: "Considering he's been a pretty brutal drinker since he was a young teenager, it's quite an achievement." Another allegedly said: "Now his regime doesn't make him the most entertaining party guest in the world, but he's definitely more chilled and relaxed."
Meghan, whose mom Doria Ragland is a yoga instructor, has shown Harry, the Duke of Sussex, an alternative and healthier lifestyle. An anonymous friend of the couple explained: "All she [Meghan] did was show him there's another way to live and he's become a huge fan. He eats well, doesn't poison his body, does a bit of yoga and is a lot happier."
But it looks like the royal family isn't ready for adopting Meghan's ways quite so soon. It was recently reported that the Duchess is apparently finding it difficult to adjust to the royal lifestyle because her ideas for change are being rejected repeatedly. Numerous sources are reporting that Meghan is becoming "increasingly frustrated" at being told "no" for many of her ideas to change the ways of the royal family.
A palace insider suggested the friction may be because veteran royal aides "might not be used to the 'say-it-as-you-see-it' American mentality." A source said, "The palace is a magical place, and it is also a place where all you hear is 'no, no, no'. The most difficult job in the royal family is to work with Meghan’s ambitions and make them realizable. She will get frustrated if she is told 'you can’t do this or can’t do that.'"
Her reputation has taken a further hit because of rumors that she's feuding with the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, who is the future queen and is perceived to have a "quiet nature" by the public. The row — which the palace has vehemently denied — followed rumors that Kate was "left in tears" during a "stressful" fitting for Princess Charlotte's bridesmaid dress.
