With Megan Thee Stallion now giving away $1M in Bitcoin, here’s how you can get the same from the female emcee. First of firsts, Cash App is a mobile payment service developed by Square, Inc., which allows users to transfer money to one another using a mobile phone app. CashApp is used by over 15M people, and since January 2018 it has allowed users to buy bitcoin within the app.
One has to first download the CashApp, sign up and link a payment method by adding your bank account or debit card details. One can then choose a unique cashtag, which is the name at which you will be able to receive funds. Now, in order to receive the bitcoin gift from Megan through cash app, one will need “$cashtag”, which is a new feature introduced on the app. Usually, bitcoin transfer takes a long time but with the new $cashtag feature, the transfer will be much faster, as reported by the website BlackGirlNerds.
A lot of users on Twitter got the bitcoin transfer and they were more than happy to share the same on the micro-blogging site while some requested regarding the same. One disappointed user posted, “but some ppl got $9 and some ppl got $100.” One lucky user shared the screenshot of the bitcoin transfer and posted, “Thank you so much @theestallion.” One individual asked, “Why I never win any of these give-aways.” Another elated user shared the screenshot and said, “OMFGGGGGGG thank you so muchhhhhh!!!” One posted, “Help a broke college student out $shaneillel #BITCOINMEG."
