PALO ALTO, CALIFORNIA: Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan welcomed their third baby recently. On the morning of Friday, March 24, the Meta owner announced the wonderful news and revealed that they named their daughter Aurelia Chan Zuckerberg.

On his Instagram account, Zuckerberg, 38, wrote, "Welcome to the world, Aurelia Chan Zuckerberg! You're such a little blessing." The Facebook creator and Chan were Harvard University classmates who have previously welcomed daughters Maxima, 7, and August, 5, in 2015 and 2017, respectively. The entrepreneur mentioned his young daughters in his September 2022 Instagram post annoucing his 38-year-old wife's pregnancy. He wrote, "Lots of love. Happy to share that Max and August are getting a new baby sister next year!"

'It's the best feeling to have just given birth'

Several individuals have reacted to the news of Aurelia's birth by leaving congratulatory messages in the comment section. More than a million people have liked the post, and it has garnered over 29,000 comments. Many others have even congratulated the couple on Twitter. One person tweeted, "Congratulations I hope the baby is happy and healthy."

Another person wrote, "The new generation of Facebook and Instagram." A third person tweeted, "Congratulation Mark Zuckerberg for your new baby." This other person wrote, Congratulations to Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan, what I would do to have another baby. It's the best feeling to have just given birth."

How does Mark Zuckerberg raise his children?

In a 2019 interview with Gayle King, Zuckerberg talked about raising his children modestly despite the family's wealth. King asked, "How do you raise children when you can really give them anything, materially, to be grounded?"  

Zuckerberg responded, "Well I think, first of all, we don’t give them everything. That's an important piece, but they also just have responsibilities." Chan added, "They have chores, they have responsibilities. We also take them to work. Mark and I take both of them to the office to see what we do, how we contribute."

On Lex Fridman's podcast, Zuckerberg also disclosed that he sits down with his daughters every evening before bed to talk about the issues that he believes "are most important in life," such as looking after your health and wellbeing, appreciating your friends and family, and achieving your future goals.
