The reason behind the model's outburst is still unclear but the incident came days after the couple celebrated their one-year anniversary. Meadow celebrated the day adding a mushy couple pic on Instagram with the caption, "Happy anniversary, my love! One year married to you." On the same day, she posted another video of her husband in a grey and white jacket with his hair messed up and wrote 'ONE YEAR' with a red heart.
Louis also expressed his love for his wife by sharing the same clip on his Instagram page. “1 year – forever to go 💍💫❤️🔥," he captioned the post to which Walker replied, “I love you,” with four flame hearts.
Meadow and Louis said ‘I Do’ in October 2021 in the Dominican Republic, just two months after getting engaged in August 2021. Meadow’s godfather — Paul’s 'Fast & Furious' co-star, Vin Diesel — walked her down the aisle in place of her father after Paul died in a car crash in 2013.
A source close to the model told Us Weekly, "Meadow counts Vin and his kids as family and will talk to them on days she’s struggling, and she has their backs too."
During an interview with Extra TV, Vin Diesel talked about his relationship with Meadow after Paul Walker’s car accident. "She takes good care of me, to be honest," the actor stated. "She is the first person on Father's Day to wish me Happy Father's Day...I feel very protective."
