'Maybe you can wear a blue and white jacket': Megyn Kelly challenges Alicia Keys to support Israeli women after her defamed paragliding remark
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Megyn Kelly has once again turned her focus to Alicia Keys’ para gliding story after Hamas attacks Israel.
On this occasion, the experienced journalist has posed a question to the American singer, inquiring whether she intends to show support for Israeli women who have been affected by the actions of the Palestinian militant group.
Keys came under public scrutiny last month after sharing a post on her Instagram, donning a green leather racing jacket with black and white highlights.
In the caption, she proceeded to ask her followers, “Question: What would u do if you weren't afraid of anything??? Tell me your truth... I've had my eyes on paragliding,” adding two sets of emojis of eyes.
Upon recognizing the backlash, Alicia Keys deleted her post. However, it garnered attention from various online groups, including former Fox News anchor Kelly, who has now requested Keys' support for the situation of Israeli women.
Megyn Kelly questions Alicia Keys about supporting Israeli women
Kelly took to X (formerly Twitter) and shared a video with the message, “No woman is safe with Hamas. Neither Israeli nor Palestinian.”
The video captures various women speaking up about the atrocities committed and asking for support from people around the world.
Kelly re-tweeted the clip and tagged the American singer and songwriter, stating, “@aliciakeys - looking forward to you standing up for these Israeli women!”
Recalling Alicia Keys' prior show of support for Palestine through her now-deleted "paragliding" post on Instagram, Kelly inquired whether the American singer would consider wearing the colors of Israel as a gesture of support for Jewish women.

Maybe you can wear a blue and white jacket this time and say the thing you most want to do is (not paraglide, you already said that days after the Hamas massacre) but … dance safely at a music festival? https://t.co/Vwy92GUgWW

Megyn Kelly mocked Alicia Keys on her latest podcast episode
Speaking with her guest Maureen Callahan on the podcast, Kelly mentioned Keys’ paragliding post.
She said, “Who the hell wears Palestinian colors all over them and posts about wanting to paraglide within days of Hamas terror attack using paragliders and says, 'Oh Gee! I didn’t mean anything by it. Bulls**t!'"
Kelly continued, “Everyone is letting her [Alicia Keys] get away with it because she wanted the concert in Israeli, and well if we’re going to go with facts like that - she’s married to an Egyptian man, she has a son named Egypt."
She added, "You can make the argument either way if you want to go with her random appearances or associations.”
Kelly concluded, “I’m going by what she posted.”
