Matt Damon and wife Luciana Barroso make rare red carpet appearance with three daughters
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Matt Damon made a rare red carpet appearance with three of his daughters and his wife, Luciana Barroso, at the premiere of his latest movie 'Air' in Los Angeles on Monday, March 27. The 52-year-old actor and his 46-year-old wife wore all-black ensembles while their daughters Stella, 12, and Isabella, 16, and older daughter Alexia, showed off their impeccable style in similar black shades. Their 14-year-old daughter Gia was not in attendance.
For the red carpet event, the 'The Martian' wore a black suit over a matching round-neck t-shirt while his wife wore a black body-hugging dress. Next to him was his daughter Alexia, who rocked a trendy black floral dress. Damon and Barroso’s youngest daughter Stella, showed off her stunning fashion sense as she wore a black corset top with a floral skirt. Their daughter Isabella donned a gray floral dress with a black outline. The three daughters gave off a major 90s fashion vibe with their chic outfits. Damon and Barroso, who tied the knot in 2005, posed alongside their daughters for the shutterbugs before posing for some photos of just the two of them.

Damon tattooed the names of his daughters
The red carpet appearance came as a surprise as the ‘Jason Bourne’ star is rarely seen at events with his children. In 2019, the actor took to his Instagram to flaunt a tattoo with the names of each daughter written in cursive on his arm alongside his wife’s nickname, Lucy.
Damon on parenting and fatherhood
Damon opened up about parenting in 2018 when he shared how he’s teaching his children to own up to their mistakes. “I’m raising my kids to own their mistakes and do better next time and make amends for whatever they’ve done,” he told Today Parents. “Next time, you behave differently", he added.
“I never expected to be surrounded by girls, but it’s great. …You never know which way life’s going to take you,” the proud dad told Today in 2012. “I’m learning so much, not the least of which is how much smarter girls are. I operated under the assumption that us guys had a chance, but I realized when I was completely wrapped around my 2-year-old’s finger, that she knew it. If they can do that to us at 2 years old, when they’re fully grown we really don’t stand a chance.”
