Shanique Drummond is certainly a woman on a mission. The popular reality star shocked her husband Dr Robert Drummond by announcing her desire to switch careers and move into the luxury real-estate sector. When her husband expressed some doubts over her decision, Shanique went the extra mile to convince her husband by making a PowerPoint presentation on her career plans, and eventually won him over.

Looks like the pretty reality star is still high on the victory. Earlier today, she took to her Instagram to announce that she would be launching a self-care line very soon. She posted a pretty picture of herself dressed in a gorgeous white flowy dress, with the caption giving hints on her plans that are in the pipeline.

She wrote, "This isn’t goodbye you all... Nique has an exciting announcement coming soon that will be sure to enhance your inner zen, spiritual and sexual well-being. Can’t wait to share it with everyone. Stay tuned." Although she didn't reveal much about the products, we learned that the brand would be called 'Zen by Nique'. We can't wait to learn more about her self-care line and her big plans for the upcoming brand.

Season 2 of 'Married to Medicine: Los Angeles' saw Shanique's growing interest in the real estate industry and trying to convince her husband that she wanted to pursue a career in it. In an interview with MEA WorldWide (MEAWW), Shanique expressed how she was "shocked" by her husband's reaction to her decision to switch careers. She explained, "I was just confused as to why he felt that way. Robert has always been like my biggest supporter. He has never failed to support me. So, I was just shocked and just lost for words, to be honest."

But despite her husband's initial reluctance to let her switch her career, Shanique began doing her homework to understand the luxury real-estate space, and as a part of that met with Josh Altman of 'Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles', who warned her of the current situation and the obstacles that lay on her path to becoming this hot-shot realtor. "For to have someone like Josh to say, hey, you know this is going to be hard and say, you know, to break it down and give you the hard truth, that's kind of what I wanted, I don't want someone to sugar coat things for me like," the 'Married to Medicine' star said.
