'Married to Medicine': Britten ditches day-out and shades Jazmin and Shanique for not having a 'real' job
Bravo's 'Married To Medicine: Los Angeles' has returned with a drama-filled Season 2 in which we will see friendships and marriages being tested. The maiden episode has given a good glimpse of what can be expected from the rest of the season. A lot of gossips, backstabbing, misunderstanding and whining awaits viewers.
Imani Walker and Britten Cole are two elite women who are not just high-achieving individuals but also great mothers and wives. Imani is a psychiatrist, while Britten works as an anesthesiologist.
Even though they don't have day jobs, Jazmin Johnson and Shanique Drummond have been working to establish their footing in the real estate industry.
Jazmin has worked on creating a rental villa that houses 4 bedrooms and 5 baths. This was a fitting answer to anyone who thought she couldn't achieve great success on her own.
The 4221 sq ft house is complete with a terrace swimming pool. Her girlfriends loved every corner of it and even expressed an interest in wanting to have a cocktail party. While on the topic, the group of girls also decided to hang at the Venice beach next morning.
Britten was invited to the day-out with the girls but she said: "Some of us have real jobs," and added that she won't be able to make it. Later, in her green-room confessional Britten, while mildly shading Jazmin's work scene, said that some of them are doctors and not married to doctors.
Even though Britten, Imani, Jazmin and Shanique seem like a tightly-knit group of friends, there's a clear divide between them. The doctors have jobs to keep, which makes them busy during the day and that is usually the time Jazmin and Shanique hang out, which explains their unbreakable bond.
In the previous season, the two were found advising and calming each other down when their personal lives exploded with problems. Shanique even said that she was glad to have Jazmin in her life, indicating that she values her friendship far too much than anyone else's.
