It was just a couple of weeks ago that the duo celebrated their second anniversary together, "Happy 2 year anniversary @_anthonydamico Marrying a stranger might have been the craziest but best decision I ever made. Love you," Ashley captioned a photo with D'Amico.

D'Amico who is a sales and marketing professional was raised in Detroit in a traditional Italian family.  He fell for Ashley when he moved to Chicago, who was a restaurant manager. Her last relationship ended after her ex-boyfriend was allegedly not ready to commit or start a family with her. Though the couple was seen getting into an argument initially about having a family on the show, Ashley and D'Amico finally reached a solution and agreed to start trying for a baby a year into their marriage on the reality TV.

According to People, Ashley previously wrote in a blog saying, "I’m very confident that I will be a great mother," and D'Amico added to that saying, “I completely agree on starting to try in a year!”
