'Married At First Sight' fans find Zack and Michaela's relationship 'unhealthy'

After the couple had a massive blowout on the ranch resulting in Michaela damaging property, fans have deemed the duo as 'unstable and damaged'

Working through differences is the key to a couple's successful marriage. This season of 'Married at First Sight' has seen a range of explosive fights among couples that fans thought were the strongest and have also seen the most unlikely couples bond and build a strong foundation. But, at the center of it all, is Zack and Michaela. The couple started off on a great note and seemed to get along at every point. It almost seemed as though they were a match made in heaven, ready to start a life together.

However, ever since Zack got Covid-19 on their honeymoon, it has been an emotional rollercoaster for the two of them. The couple constantly seems to be at loggerheads and even when they reconcile, they somehow manage to go back to square one. And it looks like now, things have indeed taken a turn for the worse.

While the couples' ranch retreat started pretty well, a conversation between Zack and Michaela quickly took a turn for the worse. Zack admitted that he wasn't ready for marriage with her, causing Michaela to lash out and make a scene. However, Bao was able to talk her through it and the couple reconciled. But later, when the whole group was playing a game, a joke was made about Michaela being petty, which did not sit well with Zack, as Michaela joked about her behaviour.

As they returned to their rooms, the couple revisited their conversation, which went sour very quickly, resulting in Zack wanting to leave and go home. Michaela tried to get him to stay as driving through the countryside this late was not advisable, but Zack was adamant. This resulted in Michaela having a massive blowout, wrecking the common space area and rushing to her room. 

Fans stated that the two manage to bring the worst out in each other. "I think Michaela is a gaslighter too. First she told Zack to leave, then she got upset when he said he was leaving, and she wanted him to stay with her crazy self. Who is the real Michaela? #MarriedAtFirstSight" tweeted a fan. "Zach and Michaela are just unhealthy for each other. He's a gaslighter (can't communicate effectively either ) and she had some emotional issues that were unresolved. THIS!!! is why pre-marital counseling is important folks. #MAFS #MarriedAtFirstSight" countered another.

However, some fans believed that Michaela escalated the fight and that she might genuinely need to address her issues. "Zach and Michaela give each other mixed signals. He thinks everything should be perfect and she can't check her triggered emotions #mafs" tweeted a fan. "I hope Michaela takes some time to reflect and really seek help for these issues. Something is really wrong #MAFS" added another.

"Any person who sees michaela as a victim after we literally watched her talk out of 3 sides of her face, is hella concerning. The producers even rewound the tape in case you missed it. Lol #marriedatfirstsight" pointed out a fan. "Oh wow..Michaela and Zach, equally damaged and unstable, BUT Michaela takes her unstableness to an whole different level, like straitjacket & padded room level. Truly sad to watch. #MAFS" tweeted a user. "I understand Michaela but her reaction is extra, I think if she would allow Zach to finish talk, her reaction is excessive and that causes Zac to shut down #mafs" agreed a fan.
