LAS VEGAS, NEVADA: During the opening night of the band’s Las Vegas residency at the Park MGM’s Dolby Live theater, 'Maroon 5' frontman Adam Levine paid a sweet tribute to wife Behati Prinsloo and their three children — daughters Dusty Rose, 6, and Gio Grace, 5, and the newborn whose name is yet to be disclosed.

The ‘Let It Be’ hitmaker announced on stage that he "used to do this for myself, and now I do this for them”, during the show that comprised 20 odd songs from the band’s discography. The public shoutout came months after Levine was accused of cheating on his pregnant wife.

‘I did not have an affair’

In September 2022, models and actresses Sumner Stroh, Alyson Rosef, and Maryka accused the Grammy Award winner of sending them inappropriate text messages. Levine, in an Instagram post wrote, “I used poor judgment in speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY kind of flirtatious manner.”

He then added, “I did not have an affair, nevertheless, I crossed the line during a regrettable period of my life. In certain instances it became inappropriate.”

Intent on working through the differences, Levine, during that time, commented, “My wife and my family is all I care about in this world,” before adding, “To be this naïve and stupid to risk the only thing that truly matters to me was the greatest mistake I could ever make. I will never make it again. I take full responsibility. We will get through it and we will get through it together.”

Levine married the former Victoria’s Secret model Prinsloo in 2014 and the couple has three children together. The parents of three seemed to have navigated through the rough patch in their marriage as they were seen attending the Vanity Fair Oscars Party earlier this month. The couple also reportedly engaged in some public display of affection during the marquee event’s blue carpet.

In their set, the Maroon 5 band members also paid tribute to the band's late manager Jordan Feldstein who died of cardiac arrest in 2017.

'She stayed with him?'

Adam Levine's tribute to his family elicited a mixed bag of reactions from the netizens. While one fan commented with incredulity, "She stayed with him?", another just commented, "Lmaooooooo." An incensed user said, "Adam Levine and @maroon5 need to be canceled and blacklisted just like Will smith and his family. Radio stations need to stop playing his music".
