Jared Bridegan death: Mario Saldana, husband of Microsoft exec's ex Shanna, arrested over his murder
JACKSONVILLE BEACH, FLORIDA: Jared Bridegan's ex-wife's new husband has been arrested In connection with his murder last year. The Microsoft executive was gunned down in front of his baby daughter after he stopped his vehicle to check for a flat tire. Bridegan was fatally shot in the middle of the road in Jacksonville Beach, Florida, on February 16, 2022.
On Thursday, March 16, Florida police arrested Bridegan's ex-wife Shanna Fernandez's new husband Mario Fernandez Saldana in Orlando. Hitman Henry Tenon testified against Saldana which led to his arrest, reported Daily Mail.

What was Fernandez's motive behind the murder?
Henry Tenon was taken into custody in January for his part in the murder. At the time of the murder, the hitman was living in a rented home owned by Saldana. The motive behind the murder has not yet been confirmed by the prosecutors. Jared and Shanna's two children were under their shared custody. At a press conference, the arrest was announced and the victim's widow Kirsten Bridegan stated, "We know there is still a long way to go before all those involved will truly be held accountable." She explained that while she "grappled with grief," she was angry that the murderer had been "walking free."
'Jared was truly an innocent victim'
At the press conference, Kirsten said, 'We have fought hard for the truth and the world now knows what we have known all along; that Jared truly was an innocent victim," and added, "Since day one, those in charge of the investigation promised us that they would be relentless in their pursuit of justice and they have been." Jared's ex-wife has not been taken into custody. Police have not revealed whether any additional arrests would be made.
Shanna and Saldana moved across country before the arrests
Shanna and Saldana quietly moved 2,800 miles away from Florida to the Pacific Northwest. Following the shift, Jared's wife Kirsten stated, "Honestly, I was shocked. First, the twins lost their father, then they were completely cut off from their own sisters and now they’re being taken away from their school, friends, their sports teams. They are so isolated, and that’s what concerns me," reported Fox News. Kirsten and Jared shared three-year-old Bexley and one-year-old London.
