Maroon 5 to headline Mardi Gras fest 'San Luis Salute 2022' confirms Fertitta family
Guess the Fertitta family has plans to make the crowd 'Move Like Jagger' this year at their famous San Luis Salute. The festival, back after a long hiatus, will be headlining none other than Maroon 5! The event scheduled on February 25, 2022, has almost sold out all its tickets. What's notable is that tickets were selling like hot cakes even before the list of performers were announced. The festival's allure is such that people can't wait to scream their lungs out, partying all night. The annual Tilman Fertitta Family event which was canceled last year is finally happening this year at Galveston Island Convention Center at The San Luis Resort.
This gala has been happening for about 25 years and lovers of this event keep returning, never getting bored once they've got a taste. But the festival's return isn't just happy news for its fans but also the organizers, The Fertittas. They told PaperCity, “Our family is committed to this wonderful Mardi Gras tradition which we began in 1997 and we love the energy, glamour, and excitement it brings to the island’s Mardi Gras celebration.” Additionally, they also added how this year, the tables have sold out way too soon.

Event is attracting legendary performers
As we already know Adam Levine and his band the Maroon 4 are headlining this event, picking up on the legacy of previous years’ headliners, namely Pitbull, Sister Sledge, and The Chainsmokers.
Will Maroon 5 put on a show like these 3 who stunned the crowd? We believe so! Additionally, the evening will be kicked off by popular party band The Big Beyond, as well as additional constant Vegas-style entertainment.
How to grab tickets?
Though the tickets are almost sold out, you can still get your hands on the last few remaining ones. Visit the Mardi Gras website, click on “Get Tickets” and quickly grab your spot. Due to Covid restrictions, many people have been canceling so you might get lucky.
What's the buzz on Twitter?
Twitter is flooded with comments from users who can’t stop talking about the hyped up festival. Many who won’t be able to attend are also sharing moaning about missing out on great show-stoppers. But the lucky ones who are going can't contain their joy. A twitter user wrote, “It’s the start of Mardi Gras in Galveston this weekend. Who likes to get into the Mardi Gras spirit like I do? #TBT #MardiGras #mardigrasgalveston” Another hilarious Tweet read, “Going to Mardi Gras 16 weeks pregnant so my son can get the Galveston experience early 🥳” Damn! That’s a blessing to the kid!
