Mandy Moore welcomes second baby with husband Taylor Goldsmith, unveils name in cute post
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Actress-singer Mandy Moore announced the birth of her second child with husband Taylor Goldsmith on Friday, October 21, on Instagram. 'A Walk to Remember' star in a series of black-and-white photographs shared the picture of the baby with Goldsmith, as the couple happily gazed at their son. She also revealed the cute name of the baby boy, who will be called Oscar ‘Ozzie' Bennett Goldsmith, now the younger brother to 1-year-old August ‘Gus’ Harrison, who the couple welcomed in February 2021.
In June, the 'Grey's Anatomy' actress announced her pregnancy with baby number two on Instagram. She had captioned the post as, “Baby Boy Goldsmith #2 coming this fall! Tour is gonna be slightly different than I expected but I can’t wait and Gus is gonna be the BEST big brother!!”

Moore revealed her 'In Real Life' tour across North America - which started off on June 10 - had to be cut short on June 28, as she needed to focus on her pregnancy. The 'This Is Us' star was expected to travel on the road, and she reasoned on her Instagram that it would be "too challenging to proceed", as per Elite Today.
The decision certainly paid off as she shared that the birth of Ozzie was far less complicated than her first, “Ozzie is here! Oscar Bennett Goldsmith arrived a little late but with much aplomb (and an easier/speedier delivery than his big brother, much to the delight of his parents). Every adage is true: our hearts have doubled in size and the immediacy of the love is astounding. He is beyond words and we are so grateful for our family of four!”
Although Ozzie’s arrival may have been a bit easier than her first, she sure had to go through some complications. In July 2022, the 'Candy' singer announced that she has a rare autoimmune disorder medically called immune thrombocytopenic purpura that stops her from getting an epidural while delivering her first child because her "platelets are too low," reported TODAY.
Both her deliveries with Gus and Ozzie were unmedicated, and the '47 Meters Down' star was glad about how things went.
