Mama June shows off beach body in tiny swimsuit while jogging in Florida amid weight loss journey
Mama June showed off her beach body on Tuesday, June 2, as she jogged in a swimsuit on a Florida beach. The 40-year-old was snapped jogging beachside with artist pal, Adam Barta.
June, whose original name is June Shannon, shed a whopping 294 pounds after taking extreme measures to slim down in 2017. However, now she is reportedly serious about losing another 45 pounds after she admittedly put some weight back on.
Wearing a blue and white tankini swimsuit from Dominique’s Surf Shop, located in Jensen Beach, Florida, the television personality was seen doing some stretching and yoga moves.

In mid-May also, June was spotted doing workouts as her weight loss journey continues. At that time, she was also seen with Barta. Despite being outside for the exercise, the mother of Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson took to social media to encourage social distancing rules.
According to reports, weight loss is just one part of June’s whole body makeover. The mother-of-four has already spent a whopping amount of $10,000 on a new set of veneers in 2017. She recently shared that she underwent a dental procedure because of a chip in her veneer, after breaking her tooth on a “fat cake.”
The latest appearance of June came a few days after her daughters, Anna Cardwell and Jessica Shannon, shared pictures of their sizzling summer bodies after going through plastic surgeries a few months back. In the pictures taken during a recent beach trip, Anna flaunted her beach body in a black one-piece swimsuit that read, “Beach Better Have My Sunny”, while younger sister Jessica wore a hot pink, strapless romper.
In one of the photos of the trip, elder sister Anna was seen posing atop a donut-shaped pool floaty and flashed her backside at the camera, while in another image, she was seen being really cute doing the 'Hang Loose' sign. On the other hand, Jessica kept things a bit more covered up as she showed very little skin in the romper while posing alongside another sister Lauryn 'Pumpkin' Efrid, 20. The 23-year-old went makeup-free as she and sister Lauryn posed for the camera from their hotel balcony.
The pair of sisters shared, in March, their body transformation on Instagram. Posting her photos at the time, Anna shared her story of $111K plastic surgery and also gave details of the procedure to her 182K followers. In her post, she thanked the doctors who helped her get the body of her dreams as she wrote: “Finally I get to share photos of my makeover journey and introduce you to all the great doctors and beauty professionals who worked on me to make me beautimous!! Please follow them all they changed my life!”
Following the footsteps of her elder sister, Jessica also shared her journey in a social media post at the time. She shared the news on Instagram by posting some photos of her as she captioned them: “I’m excited to share with y’all the makeover team that worked on me and really made a big difference in my life. I’m still losing weight every day and I feel great! Follow the beauty team they were all the best!”
