'Mama June: From Not to Hot' star Honey Boo Boo slammed for claiming reality show is 'We TV's No. 1': 'She's delusional'

The show started premiering in the mif of May on We TV and aired in the timing of the very popular and fan-favorite show 'Love After Lockup'. However, despite its valiant efforts, the show finds itself battling against the tides of popularity, with an underwhelming IMDb audience rating of 4.1 (468 votes). 

Despite the show's waning popularity and low rating, Alana Thompson, also known as Honey Boo Boo, remains adamant about her program's success. She recently shared a TikTok screenshot, seemingly confirming her belief in being at the top. However, skeptical fans confronted her claim, suggesting that the show's perceived success could be attributed to the absence of another beloved program, 'Love After Lockup'.

Is Honey Boo Boo's 'Mama June' We TV's No. 1 show?

According to US TVDB ratings 'Mama June: From Not to Hot' is in fact number one among two shows currently playing on TV. It is only above 'Brat Loves Judy' which is currently airing. 'Mama June' star posted a video on Tik Tok replying to the user who commented saying, "Obviously you haven't seen the ratings, you aren't in the top 5 anymore, NEVER #1" to which Alana replied with the rating screenshot saying, "(tagging the user who mocked her) might just wanna delete the whole comment 😝." Alana's response gathered a lot of hatred as fans on Reddit confirmed that it is the only show airing right now other than one more which eliminates competition. 

'She’s in for a harsh reality check'

The comments on Reddit were very harsh and hit the reality for Honey Boo Boo as one user said, "This girl will last one semester in college" while  a second user wrote, "She’s in for a harsh reality check." All the comments were focused on how her show actually doesn't deserve to be number one and if it is then it's only because of the timing or zero competition, as one user said, "the elusive We Tv time slot" and another added, "That's why most of these shows are going the way they are low views." While a few other users commented on the family being a disaster and said, "When the only reason that you are on tv is because you are a complete mess, does it matter if you are #1?" another one added again pointing out at the competition and said, "Out of two shows? 😂 also let me see the ratings when it first didn’t f*****g air. she’s delusional. who even watches we tv? let’s see the ratings compared to other reality shows and then she can talk." Another user added about the family being lazy and giving unworthy and unwatchful content and said, "They are so typical lazy people who want to be rich and famous without having to work for it."
