Malia Obama and boyfriend Rory Farquharson watch Harvard-Yale football match two years after they were spotted kissing at same venue
Malia Obama and her boyfriend Rory Farquharson, 21, were seen attending the Harvard-Yale football game over the weekend.
The pair were seen around two years after kissing at the same venue, in November 2017. Malia, 21, and Farquharson had taken the trip to New Haven, Connecticut to watch the game on Saturday.
Malia, who is currently in her junior year, was seen chatting and laughing with Farquharson and their friends as they made their way into the stadium, as reported by DailyMail.
The former first daughter was seen sporting a tan ribbed turtleneck with a pair of leggings that she had complimented with an oversized denim jacket. She finished off her look with a pair of crew socks and a pair of lace-up boots and fingerless gloves. She had her curly locks pulled up and was seen beaming as she spent time with her boyfriend and friends.
On the other hand, Farquharson was seen wearing a red coat over a black sweatshirt and a pair of faded black jeans. He also sported a pair of round sunglasses to shield his eyes from the sun. Obama and Farquharson met at Harvard around two years ago. Farquharson is the former head boy at the prestigious Rugby School in the UK.
The game was full of drama and was delayed for almost 30 minutes after climate change protesters took to the field at half-time, sporting both Harvard and Yale colors. They staged a sit-in during the Yale Bowl with students asking the school's presidents to move away from the fossil fuel industry. Other signs spoke about Puerto Rican debt.
While a majority of people walked off the field with a police escort, 20-30 people got arrested. Those arrested were released and then given a court date, the protest organizers said.
