'MAFS' Season 14: Michael says he doesn't watch Marvel films, fans joke 'should've lied'

While Michael's lack of taste in TV shows and movies worried fans, they were certainly rooting for the pair

Getting married is certainly a big step to take in a relationship. But for the couples of 'Married At First Sight', there is the added pressure of marrying a total stranger. As a result, the marriages on the show can go either one of two ways -- either they are successful or they crash burn.

Season 13 certainly saw some trainwrecks, with Johnny and Bao, Zack and Michaela and Ryan and Brett. But Season 14 comes bearing promise as fans root for Michael and Jasmina.

When it came to walking down the aisle, Jasmina Outar seemed nervous and was close to tears. However, she mustered up the courage and went ahead with the wedding. The second Michael Morency laid eyes on her, he was utterly smitten and even referred to her as 'Black Barbie' to describe how beautiful she was. Jasmina kept her vows funny and the two went through with their wedding. Fans weren't entirely sure what to make of the couple earlier on, but seemed to have gotten on board as the ceremony carried on.

"I'm liking their vibe - they genuinely seem like they're interested in getting to know each other. And Jasmina is lowkey funny too! #MAFS #MarriedAtFirstSight" tweeted a fan. "On second thought now that I see them together they look cute together. I am routing for them. Come on Jasmina! #MarriedAtFirstSight #mafs" added another. "I'm rooting for Jasmina and Michael. They look good together and I like how he made that facial expression and whoa sound when she walked down to the alter #MAFS" tweeted a fan. 

Fans were undoubtedly Team Jasmina, seeing that she enjoys K-drama and K-pop and Marvel. However, when it came down to getting to know each other, she asked Michael if he watched any shows and it turns out, he didn't indulge in TV shows or movies. This startled Jasmina, who was shocked that her new husband was not a Marvel fan and fans agreed with her.

"Jasmina is so relatable watching k dramas and marvel no comment on Michael's uncultured behind. #MAFS" said a fan. Another viewer joked: " Jasmina ain't feeling that big spark, Michael should've lied and said he loves Marvel and Korean dramas  #MAFS."
