'MAFS' fans slam Ryan after he says he'll have to start relationship 'from scratch'

Ryan claims he knows he's bad at communicating, yet he seems to have made little to no effort to make his marriage with Brett work out

With just a week until decision day, the cast of 'Married At First Sight' must make a crucial choice. Will they end their marriage or stay together? When it comes to solving their problems, they must be clear about the choices they want to make and what they hope to achieve.

For Brett and Ryan, they seem to have hit the final roadblock. Brett has been trying to make their marriage work, but there has been little to no effort from Ryan's side. However, in the last few episodes, while Ryan was willing to try, Brett had already emotionally tapped out. And after she found out that he's on a dating app, it seemed like their relationship was truly over.

A friend of Ryan's pointed out to him that Ryan wasn't the best at communicating, which Ryan admitted. Ryan mentioned how he really wanted to be married and that now his marriage is crumbling, he discussed having to start all over again from scratch. Fans were done with Ryan's excuses and didn't hesitate to call him out on it, seeing that he spoke about making it work, without having put in any effort.

"My issue is EVERYONE has told Ryan he doesn't communicate well, and every time he admits it to be true BUT has yet to actually really try. He just says "I know" and pretends to care #MAFS #MarriedAtFirstSight" added a viewer. "Omg y’all. Eeyore feels bad about being on a dating app! Eeyore ain’t want the experience with Brett, but didn’t communicate. What should Eeyore do? #MarriedAtFirstSight #mafs" joked another.

Fans of the show also called him out on him complaining about starting from scratch, yet he was the one to get on a dating app. "Ryan couldn’t wait out the experiment to download a dating app & now that he’s caught it’s “I want this to work” Textbook trash. #MAFS" argued one. "Is it hard to fathom starting over, Ryan? Cuz you’re already swiping Right on Tinder.. #MAFS" tweeted another. "The audacity of ryan to say “it’s tough to fathom starting all over again” but then get on a dating app to...start all over again! #mafs #marriedatfirstsight," stated a viewer.
