'MAFS': Johnny slammed for discussing marriage issues with Bao's best friend Sarah

Johnny accused Bao of being a 'sinister manipulator' based on information from her 'best friend', Sarah

Season 13 of 'Married At First Sight' has proved to be a bag of mixed surprises, none of them which have a seemingly happy ending. With each of the couples trying to figure out where they stand before decision day, it seems as though it is clear as day for a few couples that this might be the end of their marriage. And Johnny and Bao seem more than ready to walk away from each other. 

At the start of the season, it looked as though they were the match meant to be, having known each other years prior, only to end up married. And while their honeymoon went seemingly well, it all went downhill thereafter. This week, the couples revisited their childhood homes and both Johnny and Bao opened up about their tough childhoods. But as that tender moment played out on screen, it was a precursor of the drama that was yet to come.

With Dr Pepper Schwartz meeting with the couples, earlier on Johnny made it seem as though he wanted to make things work. But the second he sat down with Dr Schwartz and Bao, he announced that he had shocking information. Johnny met with a woman named Sarah, who is allegedly Bao's best friend over a car deal. The two began talking and as Johnny poured his heart out, Sarah reassured him that this is exactly how Bao was in previous relationships. According to her, Bao breaks people down to build them up the way she sees fit. Bao was hurt when she found out about this, telling cameras in private that she didn't have many female friends and that she felt betrayed. Bao mentioned that she feels she's been accountable for her actions, to which Johnny replied that that is what she thought, but that was not the case. Later, the two discussed the matter, with Bao even explaining that Sarah's attitude to most things is to abandon them and hence she had not spoken to her about her marriage. She mentioned that the ball was now in Johnny court, which triggered him, prompting him to leave. Fans were just as irritated with the whole ordeal.

"“Sarah said Bao likes to break you down, have you lean on her, then rebuild into what she wants.” Johnny has to be the BIGGEST projector I have ever seen on reality tv. My God! We haven't seen that Bao, but we have seen a gaslighting, cruel Johnny! #MAFS #MarriedatFirstSight" wrote a user.

Some fans pointed out that there was something bigger at play, hinting that there might have possibly been something going on between Johnny and Sarah instead. However, this has not been confirmed by any official source, yet fans continued to speculate about the same.
