LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Madonna was recently admitted to a hospital in New York after being found unresponsive on Saturday, June 24. It has been revealed that she was intubated and is dealing with a "serious bacterial infection," necessitating ongoing medical care for her complete recovery.

Interestingly, just a few days prior to her hospitalization, Madonna shared a series of backstage photos on her Instagram account. In these snapshots, the usually vibrant 64-year-old appeared somber and chose not to smile. Accompanying the photos, she captioned them with the words, "The Calm Before The Storm………."

Unfortunately, this health scare has resulted in the postponement of Madonna's highly-anticipated Celebration tour. Guy Oseary, Madonna's manager, took to Instagram to provide an update on her condition. "On Saturday June 24, Madonna developed a serious bacterial infection which led to a several day stay in the ICU," Oseary wrote in a post on Instagram. "Her health is improving, however she is still under medical care." Oseary expressed optimism for her "full recovery" but mentioned that all her commitments, including the Celebration tour, would be put on hold.

'Is this the kobe before the storm?'

The tour can wait till you feel you able to do it all matters is your health us your fans love you no matter what your given us so much over last 40 years." Another referenced her quotes and her sudden illness saying, "The storm is already here." Regardless of what one thinks about her, she's still a pop icon. She also has children who are still young. All the best to her," read a tweet.
