Madonna, 64, rocks Britney Spears' 'schoolgirl' look on date with 29-year-old boyfriend Josh Popper
NEW YORK, UNITED STATES: While out on the town in New York, the ‘Material Girl’ singer was living her "Baby One More Time" fantasy of being a young Britney. Madonna wore a Britney Spears-inspired schoolgirl attire for a date with Josh Popper on April 26.
Madonna, 64, wore a white button-up shirt and a black tie, as well as wide-leg black pants and a black coat, in photographs shared to her Instagram Story. Her hair, which Madonna had done up in braids, completed the "schoolgirl" look. Josh, 29, was seen in one shot looking at his new girlfriend with a smile on his face.

Madonna went to meet the LaBeque sisters with her new boyfriend and three of her children, Mercy James, 17, and twins Stella and Estere, 10. The singer was a big fan of the French piano duo Katia and Marielle LaBeque. She captioned a photo of both sisters on Instagram, "A night out with the amazing.... [duo]." The LaBeque sisters shared a photo of themselves with Madonna on their Instagram account. "An AMAZING night with a very special guest," they wrote.
When two music icons meet
Britney, 41, and Madonna, 64, have had a long friendship — a bond which the ‘Stronger’ singer celebrated on Instagram in August when Madonna turned 64. Britney released a video from "two and a half years ago," in which she was "Voguing", an homage to Madonna's ballroom-inspired smash song.
Britney also posted a current photo of herself dressed in red and a blonde Madonna dressed in a colorful ensemble. Britney wrote, "In respect to Madonna because, well, I think you already know that she came to my freaking wedding."
Madonna’s new romance
Madonna and Britney replicated their 2003 Video Music Awards kiss during Britney and Sam Asghari's wedding. While posing for the Instagram photo, the two locked lips, a cheeky reference back when two women kissing would set the globe on fire.
Madonna has recently been preparing for her retrospective global tour. She's also enjoying her new relationship with Josh Popper. The boxing instructor is a former NFL hopeful who played in training camps for the Arizona Cardinals and Indianapolis Colts. He established the Bredwinner boxing studio and is said to be an instructor for one of Madonna's children.
