Rapper Machine Gun Kelly has echoed Billie Eilish's thoughts by launching his own scathing critique of white privilege and the corrupt system we live in. Things in America have reached a boiling point in the wake of George Floyd's death, with numerous celebrities taking to social media to voice their concerns against the injustices that people have had to endure at the hands of the police and the unyielding system that turns a blind eye to blatant abuses of power.

MGK recently posted on Twitter, "F*** the Boyz [police car and middle finger emoji], f*** white privilege" and ranted, "I'm ashamed someone who looks like me could treat another human like this, but they been doing it since the beginning of time. Our generation has to be the ones to stop it — my loyalty's with the people, f*** the system, fight the system."

He then swore that he would be joining the Black Lives Matter protests on the streets of Los Angeles, and turned up there without security guards, holding his own placard that read, "Silence is betrayal."  Among the many celebrities who turned out to lend their support to the protests were Ariana Grande, Tinashe, Halsey, Yungblud, J Cole, Emily Ratajkowski, Lauren Jauregui, Melanie Martinez, Kehlani, Kali Uchis and members of Five Seconds of Summer. Machine Gun Kelly later tweeted "Justice soon..."

Machine Gun Kelly also recently posted a video clip on Instagram, saying "If you look like me and you have racism in your heart, and on your mind, and coming out your mouth, f*** you. I'm ashamed of you. If you enjoy my music or you like my movies, I don't want you watching, I don't want your business. F*** you. I don't want nothing that's a part of the evil agenda... Step up and speak out for our fellow people going through all this hell right now."

The caption of the video read "This ain’t the time to be neutral. We can help our peers, the world is finally listening to an issue that’s been around for centuries."

Machine Gun Kelly followed up on the promise in his Instagram video, when one fan said on Twitter, "On my way to delete all your albums now.." The rapper replied, "Good, I don't want your racist money."

Fans were also praising him for using his platform in the right way, saying "One of the reasons I F****** LOVE THIS MAN. A lot of celebrities are scared of what supporting this movement can do to their fan base BUT THIS MAN RIGHT HERE, F****** LOVE HIM FOR THIS. @machinegunkelly REMEMBER SILENCE IS BETRAYAL, SILENCE IS VIOLENCE  #BlackLivesMatters."

Another fan said, "Say what you want about Machine Gun Kelly as an artist, but as a HUMAN that man is incredible and you can’t argue that."
