Machine Gun Kelly vs Jeff Lewis ends with a bottle of champagne and fans hail diplomatic end to neighbor tiff
A neighbor's tiff can be quite the pain. But it was a smart move from Machine Gun Kelly aka Colson Baker, who found himself at the center of Jeff Lewis' many accusations about the rapper's carefree lifestyle.
It would have been a silent, cold feud with an exchange of death stares every now and then but the animosity spiked when Kelly shared a video on Instagram of Lewis ranting on the SiriusXM Radio Andy show about how much of a pain Kelly has proven to be.
"Colson, across the street. I have no issue with this guy, but there's this, whatever, tension brewing. And he said it was actually going to turn into the movie Neighbors, and that he is Zac Efron. Which means that I am f***ing Seth Rogen," Lewis said in the clip and added that the artiste's friends park in front of other people's driveways and fire hydrants, and his neighbors have complained about it to him.
The context: Zac and Seth played frat boy and new dad, respectively, in the comedy film 'Neighbors.' For the most part, they were at loggerheads, persistently pulling pranks on each other until the day they acknowledged the utility in them being friends.
Responding to his complaints, Kelly assured in the video that there would be more noise coming from his home and he wished that they would have a "mutual understanding" about the same. Later, he even sent a peace offering over to Lewis's house, indicating that he was ready to let go of the beef that they were so involved in. The note read: "What's up Jeff, let's all be friends."
The 'Bravo' star accepted the gesture but with a tinge of humor. He shared the photo of the Dom Pérignon champagne and wrote: "I accept. Now please move your car @machinegunkelly."
Meanwhile, fans have loved this new love-hate friendship that Lewis and Kelly have going.
"Never thought the story would take this turn, have him on the show! I stan this new friendship," a user commented, while another posted: "My favorite collab yet."
"I see hope the 'Jeff and Colson' show debuts soon," another user wrote.
"LOL I saw this via MGK’s Instagram. You’ve got your hands full with him as a neighbor but he has always struck me as a nice guy so that’s a plus at least," a fan expressed.
