Machine Gun Kelly confirms romance with Megan Fox after PDA-laden LA outing: 'I'm calling you my girlfriend'
Rumors that Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox were an item were confirmed by the rapper, who took to Twitter to announce the status. Kelly took to the social media platform to share the news and posted lyrics of his own song, for which Fox appeared in the music video. The 30-year-old shared the lyrics from his song ‘Bloody Valentine’ that read: “I’m calling you my girlfriend, what the f***. Life imitated art on that one.” He ended the post with a heart emoji. The Twitter post came hours after Kelly and the 34-year-old Fox were spotted holding hands and kissing while out and about in Los Angeles. On Monday, June 15, the ‘Jennifer's Body’ star joined Kelly at Mr. Furley's Bar in Los Angeles' Sherman Oaks neighborhood for drinks, and where the two shared a quick yet passionate kiss before driving away.
During the outing, Fox was seen sporting a casual look as she wore a black t-shirt with the sleeves rolled up slightly to show off her toned arms. She paired the t-shirt with a tight pair of ripped black jeans and simple white tennis shoes. The actress was also seen carrying a black leather biker jacket and a large backpack. On the other hand, Kelly wore a bright red graphic T-shirt with ripped acid wash jeans. He completed his look with white Converse sneakers and a white baseball cap that said, “F*** YOU.”
According to reports, rumors of their possible romance started in May when the two were spotted together. The ‘Transformers’ star was spotted grabbing takeout with Kelly in the Calabasas neighborhood of Los Angeles on May 15. At the time, ‘The Dirt’ singer was seen giving Fox a ride to go get some food before dropping her back home. Around that time, Fox and her husband, Brian Austin Green, were also spotted not wearing their wedding ring. The ex-pair shares three children together -- Noah, 7, Bodhi, 6, and Journey, 3 -- after getting married in 2010.
The 46-year-old Green confirmed on May 18 that he and Fox were not together. The speculations of tension between Green and Fox started doing the rounds in April when they were seen seemingly swapping their three sons in a parking lot. Moreover, the two were not quarantining together amid the coronavirus lockdown. The mother-of-three appeared to be living in Calabasas while the 'Beverly Hills, 90210' star was staying in Malibu.
However, this is not the first time Green and Fox have separated. They have broken up and gotten back together several times over the years. The duo met in 2004 when Green guest-starred on her show 'Hope & Faith'. She was 18 at the time and he was 30. The pair eventually got engaged in 2006, but in 2009 they called off their engagement. Justifying her decision at the time, Fox explained, “Marriage isn’t a realistic goal for someone who is 23, that’s all. I just wanna concentrate on becoming a better person before I try to commit to being someone else’s wife."
However, soon they reconciled and got married in 2010. Again in 2015, differences between Green and Fox started surfacing in the news. The actress even filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. But again they came back together in 2016, and welcomed their third son, Journey, later that year.
